As High Commissioner/Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, I extend a warm welcome to all visitors to the website of the LONDON MISSION.
You will see from the data contained on this site that this High Commission for Trinidad and Tobago was established in London on August 31, 1962, and is accredited to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Denmark Norway, Finland, Sweden and Germany.
I took up my appointment on November 30, 2003, and can truly say that I hit the ground running since I was immediately pressed into service on that day in the presence of both His Excellency The President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and our Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs at the London Heathrow Airport. Since then, I have been actively pursuing the Mission’s mandate to facilitate trade, investment and tourism with its countries of accreditation and I have continued to expand and solidify its relationship with its accredited organizations - the Commonwealth Secretariat and its Agencies, the International Maritime Organization and Commodity Organizations (Cocoa, Coffee and Sugar).

Of particular importance to this Mission are its relationship with and the services it renders to nationals of Trinidad and Tobago and to any other person who requires assistance of whatever nature. Our accent is on service, particularly in relation to consular services to our nationals, and looking after the welfare of our many students in the United Kingdom. My staff and I regard this aspect of our mandate as paramount and welcome any constructive suggestion which could serve to improve on delivery.
The establishment of this website is one of the means by which we at the London Mission aim to improve on delivery of the services mentioned above as well as to increase interaction between ourselves and the public we serve. Additionally, the acknowledgment and heightened celebration of our national and religious days here in the United Kingdom not only facilitate these objectives but also highlight the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic nature of Trinidad and Tobago. Unity in diversity is the theme for many of the celebrated events here in London at this time. However, we of the rainbow Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Tobago take pride in our diversity and hope to share with you some of our experiences through this website.
I therefore take this opportunity to say to all our visitors, Happy Browsing.
